As a medication specialist, you will work closely with healthcare teams to ensure that patients receive the right medications and dosages.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Medication Review: Verify and review medication orders to ensure safety, proper dosage, and compatibility with patient conditions.

2. Patient Support: Educate patients and caregivers on medication usage, side effects, and compliance strategies.

3. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with pharmacists, nurses, and physicians to resolve medication-related issues and improve outcomes.

4. Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate records of medication therapy plans, administration schedules, and follow-ups.

5. Inventory Oversight: Assist with monitoring stock levels, expiration dates, and storage requirements for pharmaceuticals.

6. Compliance and Safety: Follow regulatory standards and organizational policies regarding medication management and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), LPN, or RN credentials preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical or pharmacy-related setting.

• Strong understanding of pharmacology, drug interactions, and safety measures.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
