We are seeking a knowledgeable and organized pharmacy specialist to join our healthcare team. As a pharmacy specialist, you will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and assisting patients with pharmacy-related needs. This role is essential for ensuring accuracy and compliance in medication distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Medication Preparation: Accurately prepare and label prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.

2. Inventory Management: Maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, restocking, and monitoring expiration dates.

3. Patient Assistance: Answer customer inquiries, provide information about medications, and support patients in understanding prescriptions.

4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure pharmacy operations comply with federal and state regulations.

5. Data Entry: Enter prescription and patient information accurately into pharmacy systems.

Requirements:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.

• Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and prescription protocols.

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
