Job Opportunity: Ambulatory Care Pharmacist
Location: San Fernando Valley, CA

A 300-bed regional medical center, affiliated with one of Southern Californias premier health systems, is seeking an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist to join their team.

Position Highlights:

• Compensation: Starting at $65.00/hour
• Schedule: Day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a drug specialist and therapy consultant to promote optimal medication use
• Compound, package, label, and dispense drugs and IV admixture solutions
• Review and validate the accuracy of work completed by pharmacy technicians
• Evaluate prescribed drug therapy for appropriateness, effectiveness, and safety, considering patient-specific factors such as age, disease state, and clinical status
• Perform quality assurance, drug use evaluations, and adverse reaction reporting

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Active California Pharmacist license
