Pharmacist

A leading hospital just east of Downtown Los Angeles is seeking an experienced and dependable Night Shift Pharmacist to join its inpatient pharmacy team. This role follows a 7 on / 7 off night schedule (8 PM 6 AM) and offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment within a ~400-bed facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order verification and medication review

• Oversee and guide pharmacy technicians

• Collaborate directly with nurses and physicians

• Pharmacokinetics and dosing adjustments

• Utilize Allscripts for pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist License (required)

• Minimum 5 years of inpatient hospital experience OR PGY1 residency + 2 years of inpatient experience

• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently

• Experience with Allscripts is strongly preferred

Candidates with prior Allscripts experience and a background in residency training will stand out.
