Job Description: Certified Pharmacist

We are looking for a Certified Pharmacist to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care. As a Certified Pharmacist, you will be responsible for managing and dispensing medications, providing drug information, and ensuring patient safety through careful medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions, checking for dosage accuracy and contraindications.

• Educate patients on medication administration, usage, and adherence.

• Conduct medication therapy management and make recommendations for drug adjustments.

• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws.

• Monitor inventory, order medications, and manage storage requirements.

• Precept pharmacy interns and supervise technicians.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Pharmacist (e.g., Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy or related area).

• Valid Pharmacist license in good standing.

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.

• Strong attention to detail and up-to-date knowledge of drug therapies.

• Familiarity with automated dispensing systems and electronic prescribing tools.
