Outpatient Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced outpatient/retail pharmacist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The pharmacist will work 8-hour shifts within the pharmacys operating hours of 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with alternating Saturday coverage (9:00 AM 1:00 PM). This role includes coordination with another pharmacist to ensure mid-day coverage and may require floating between two retail sites in Marshfield.

• Start Date:ASAP

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM 6:30 PM; some Saturdays (9:00 AM 1:00 PM)

• Setting: Outpatient/Retail

• Float Requirement: Must be willing to float between two retail locations within Marshfield

Duties:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions

• Provide patient counseling and education on medications

• Review and interpret physician orders

• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care

• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff

• Assist in inventory management and ordering

Qualifications:

• Active Wisconsin pharmacist license

• Previous outpatient or retail pharmacy experience preferred

• Strong communication, customer service, and clinical skills

• Ability to start quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
